YES! Hospital Radio is all about people. Our team of dedicated volunteers visit patients at their bedside every single week to chat, ask for a music request and play their favourite song. We dedicate songs for patients and staff from the wider community. We entertain with the sole aim of making patients happier. ![]()

This week, we're dancing in the kitchen with Sophie Ellis Bextor, celebrating her 47th birthday. Soul legend Al Green is 80 this week, Joss Stone is 39 and Lisa Stansfield is 60. Also this week, we remember the late David Cassidy, born in 1950, Gerry Rafferty of "Baker Street" fame and iconic singer Dusty Springfield.
