This is the anti-Valentine's Day show. For those who don't have someone to love, we'll take your mind off it with the latest goings on in the world of film, music, theatre and here at Radio Warneford!

Neil Diamond

Radio Warneford joins Neil Diamond live on stage as he sings some of his most famous songs.

THE VALENTINE'S DAY REQUEST SHOW
It's time for you to choose the music. Why not pick a song of love and romance for your loved one on Valentine's Day. Paul & Doreen Chand and Maggie Lown will be visiting the wards to chat to you and find out your story so keep an eye out. If you don't see them you can call us free of charge from your bedside unit - pick up the handset and call 4500 using the on-screen dial pad. Your friends and relatives at home can call the Request Line on Warwick 401402.

PRIVATE LIVES
Helen Bonham-Carter and Bill Nighy star in Noël Coward's sublime comedy about a divorced couple who meet again on their second honeymoons with new spouses.

Brief Encounter

An original radio version of the Oscar-nominated film. Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson star in Brief Encounter telling the desperate story of an illicit love affair between a housewife and a doctor and their regular meetings in a small café every Thursday afternoon.

VALENTINE'S DAY MUSICAL MISCELLANY
John Glare introduces a Valentine's Day edition of Music Miscellany featuring some of the great romantic classical pieces.

GOLDEN OLDIES
A specially extended version of the show! Paul Kalus and Sandra Grainger play some fantastic love songs from the 1950's and 1960's.

SUNDAY SPECIAL
Mercede Mercer and Chris Ackroyd round off Radio Warneford's Valentine's Day schedule with a romantic edition of our Sunday evening magazine.
