Today is the bicentenary of the birth of poet and playwright Robert Browning. Margaret Legge and Amy Dolphin open Radio Warneford's bank holiday schedule with an exploration of Browning's poetry, including the lengthy Pied Piper of Hamlin, and his romantic love affair with Elizabeth Barrett.

ROCK MONSTERS
Robin Jackson introduces a mix of metal and punk rock, the biggest acts from the Sex Pistols to ZZ Top and more.

THE GOLDEN AGE OF BRITISH POP MUSIC
The 1960's were a time when Britain's music was loved around the world. Chris Ackroyd & Andrew Colby celebrate some of the terrific sounds of the decade. The Mersey Sound led the way but groups and singers from around the country quickly followed.

THE MAY BANK HOLIDAY REQUEST SHOW
Now it's your chance to choose all of the music. Make sure you keep a look out for our Bank Holiday request team on the wards. If you don't see them, please call our Patient Line for free from your bedside on extension 4500.
The Request Show is presented by Chris Ackroyd, Millie Harvey, Pav Rai, Liam Dillon-Cambridge and David Watson.

4.00pm

H2O
To most of us H2O means water! John Glare takes a look at water from all angles - fact, fiction, comedy, music and words - anything but getting wet at this point in time.

5.00pm

MAY DAY WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Take a chance on Ben and Danny's musical Wheel of Fortune. Give it a spin and see what type of music you land on, then pick a song from that genre and we will play it on the radio. But be ready because Ben and Danny could be coming to your ward to see if you would like a spin on the May Day Wheel of Fortune.

7.00pm

TRAVEL NEWS
Music, poetry, facts and chat all with a travel theme. So come on a journey with the Monday team - Paul Deavall, Liam Dillon-Cambridge & Gayle Harris.
