A-PPEALING BELL
Keith Black showcases the prolific and successful songwriting talent of Thom Bell, one of the masters of the "Philadelphia Sound" of the early 1970s. Thom wrote for, and had big hits with, Dionne Warwick, the Delfonics and the Detroit Spinners to name but three. He was always overshadowed by the successful Philadelphia songwriting partnership of Gamble & Huff, so it will be refreshing to hear some of his excellent compositions.

She learns all about the delicate art of wig-making and how Fiona Keston and her team love what they do and why. Sandy talks to Carys Williams, the RSC Music Manager, who describes how all the music you hear in the theatre is live and specifically composed for each production. And finally Sandy quizzes Dean Asker, the Press Officer, on the progress of the refurbishment and what we can expect when the main theatre finally re-opens.
