The Radio Warneford Easter Egg Tombola
at Sainsbury's in Leamington Spa

Radio Warneford, the hospital radio service for South Warwickshire, is holding its first fund raising event of 2012 this weekend. The Easter Egg Tombola will be taking place at the Sainsbury's store, The Leamington Shopping Park, Leamington Spa on Saturday 31st March between 9.00am and 4.00pm.

Shoppers at Sainsbury's will have the chance to win a fantastic egg for Easter. Tickets cost just 25p each or four for £1. That's four great chances to win a prize! Just pick a ticket that ends with a "0" or a "5" and you are one of our lucky winners!

This annual event is being sponsored by Sainsbury's in Leamington Spa for the fourth time and once again we are able to hold the event within the store itself.

During the day you will be able to find out all about Radio Warneford and what's involved in being part of one of our volunteer teams. Some of our members will be on hand to answer questions and help you decide if you would like to become a hospital radio volunteer. Stop by and find yourself a brand new interest!

Radio Warneford relies entirely on public donations in order to operate its service. All proceeds from the Easter Egg Tombola will be used to maintain and improve the radio service that Radio Warneford's volunteer members provide for patients at Warwick Hospital.

Sara Lister, Radio Warneford's Chairman, says "It's wonderful that Sainsbury's in Leamington Spa is sponsoring our Easter Tombola again this year. The store has given Radio Warneford fantastic support over the last few years. Holding our Tombola within the Leamington store means that we can meet hundreds of people and tell them about the work we do - and of course they can win an egg for Easter!"

Our Easter Eggs have been very kindly donated by various local organisations as well as by Radio Warneford's members.
