Do Something Special
as a Radio Warneford Volunteer

Do you have a couple of hours to spare on a weekday evening or at weekends? Do you want to do something special for your community? Are you 18 or over? Have you thought about becoming a Radio Warneford volunteer?

The station, which has been broadcasting to patients for more than 35 years, is looking for people of all ages (minimum age 18) to volunteer their services either on a weekday evening or during the day on Saturdays or Sundays. Volunteers will collect requests from patients on the wards, help put programmes together and of course be fully trained up to broadcast live on air!

Station Manager, Ley Bricknell, says "Radio Warneford is a really rewarding way to spend some of your free time. All you need to get started is a couple of hours each week and loads of enthusiasm! It can give you an enormous sense of satisfaction. It also gives you the chance to meet people from all walks of life and an opportunity to learn all about radio broadcasting."

For more information about volunteering and membership at Radio Warneford, please contact the Station Manager, Ley Bricknell, or the Membership Secretary, Paul Chand, on 01926 401402 or email recruitment @ radiowarneford.com. Membership leaflets and an application can be found on our website at www.radiowarneford.com
