The Radio Warneford Easter Egg Tombola
Is Back In Leamington Spa

Radio Warneford, the hospital radio service for South Warwickshire, will be holding its first major fund raising event of 2009 this weekend.

The Easter Egg Tombola will be taking place at the Royal Priors in Leamington Spa on Saturday 28th March between 9.30am and 3.00pm. We are delighted that this year's event is being sponsored by Sainsbury's in Leamington Spa and their Community Fund Manager Nicola Wackett will be joining us for the day.

Visitors to the Royal Priors will have the chance to win an Easter Egg or a cuddly toy. Tickets cost just 25p or four for £1. That's four chances to win a prize! Pick a ticket that ends with a "0" or a "5" and you're a winner! Don't miss out - you'll find us on the first floor of the Royal Priors close to M&S.

We will also be recruiting for our new weekend broadcasting teams and some of our members will be on hand to answer your questions and tell you what's involved in being a hospital radio volunteer. Why not stop by and find yourself a brand new interest!

Radio Warneford relies on public donations to run its service. All proceeds from the Easter Egg Tombola will be used to maintain and improve the radio service that Radio Warneford's volunteer members provide for patients and staff at Warwick Hospital and to upgrade the equipment at our studio complex.

Sarah Lister, Radio Warneford's Chairman and Fund Raiser, says "It means a lot to us that Sainsbury's have chosen to sponsor our first big fund raising event of the year. As a radio station for the community it's important that we establish links with as many local businesses and organisations as we can. We will certainly make Nicola feel welcome when she joins us on Saturday and we look forward very much to working with her."

Radio Warneford would also like to thank the Royal Priors for providing us with a venue for this important event and the new Lidl store in Leamington Spa for their donation towards our Tombola.
