The Moo Bar To Stage Charity Music Event
On Behalf Of Radio Warneford

The Moo Bar in Russell Street, Leamington Spa, is playing host to a rather special night of music on Thursday 3rd April. Five popular local acts will be performing at the Acoustic Night, a charity event with all proceeds going to Radio Warneford, the hospital radio service based at Warwick Hospital.

Our superb line-up features a variety of styles from the intricate melodies and bluesy vocals of Leamington singer-songwriter Shanade Morrow to the "Latin Jazz Fused Funk" of Jamsons Nook to the Indian raga / Led Zeppelin cross of Satsangi. Ambient pop with a sultry female vocal is provided by Lament and our programme is completed by Neil Jones and Nik Sandall from Stone Foundation with their rock, soul and psychedelic sound.

Tickets for this fantastic night of first class music are available for just £4 and are selling fast. Email tickets@radiowarneford.com for more information or call us on (01926) 401402 (24 hrs) and leave your contact details.

Our special charity music night is part of a year of programmes and events to celebrate Radio Warneford's 35th birthday and has been organised by Nivi Morales. Nivi has been volunteering for Radio Warneford since autumn 2006. She is an active member of the Sunday evening team, where she participates in Request Shows and also presents some special programming of her own. Nivi believes this service provides entertainment and comfort to patients in hospital when they most need it.

Nivi is also a loyal follower of the Warwickshire music scene and is totally convinced that charity gigs are a great way to promote the talent of the local musicians in a way that can also benefit the community.
