Date: 14 January 2008 Fancy Doing Something Different At The Weekends? Radio Warneford, the hospital radio service, broadcasts a wide variety of programmes exclusively for patients and staff at Warwick Hospital. We are currently on the look out for people who fancy doing something a little bit different with their Sunday mornings. Our team put together and broadcast four hours of programmes between 9am and 1pm. As part of the Sunday morning team, you will find yourself chatting to patients on the wards, putting together items for broadcast, playing a little music in the studio and generally brightening up someone else's day. You don't need any particular qualifications to join the team. If you like meeting and talking to new people, can work effectively as part of a team, like music, have bags of enthusiasm and a sense of fun, then you are just the sort of person we are looking for! You'll need to be at our studios in Warwick on most Sunday mornings between around 9am and 1pm. Don't worry if you have no experience of broadcasting, we provide a complete training programme. You must be at least 18 years of age but there is definitely no upper age limit! Interested? If you would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer at Radio Warneford, please write to The Membership Secretary, Radio Warneford, Warwick Hospital, Lakin Road, Warwick CV34 5BW.
