Date: 6 Jul 2006 NATIONAL GRID TO LAUNCH Radio Warneford invites you to join them on the morning of Tuesday 11 July for the launch of the 2006 Grand Raffle Draw. Stephen Arnold, National Grid Communications Manager, will be visiting our studio complex at Warwick Hospital to present a DAB digital radio to Sara Lister, Radio Warneford Chairman, and Ley Bricknell, Station Manager, to officially launch the Grand Raffle event. This is the fourth year in a row that National Grid have supported Radio Warneford with such a great prize. Radio Warneford's Grand Raffle Draw will be taking place in the Royal Priors in Leamington Spa on Saturday 9 September - the winning tickets will be drawn by the Town Mayor Of Leamington, Andy Leahey. Prizes on offer this year also include a fantastic first class ticket for four people to travel anywhere in Great Britain by Virgin Trains. This is Radio Warneford's main fund raising event of the year and all proceeds will be used to maintain and improve the station's radio service to patients and staff at Warwick Hospital.
