Acoustic Charity Night @ Dockers Diner Dockers Diner at The Assembly, Spencer Street, Leamington Spa, will be hosting a special night of music on Thursday 2nd July. Four popular local acts will be performing at Radio Warneford's second Acoustic Night, a charity event with all proceeds going to help maintain the hospital radio service based at Warwick Hospital. Our superb line-up features a variety of styles from the bluesy folk of our opening act, Banbury-born Ben Clempson, to the soul, folk and indie-rock influenced The Session from Coventry. Men In Caves, a Leamington three-piece who performed for Radio Warneford at our 35-Hour Marathon Broadcast in November 2008, are back to support us again. A list of their influences include The Beatles, Nirvana, David Bowie and The Kinks. Our set ends with Canadian-born Clayton Denwood & his Band. It promises to be another fantastic night of fabulous music. Tickets are available for just £5 and are selling fast. Email tickets@radiowarneford.com for more information or call us on (01926) 401402 (24 hrs) and leave your contact details.
